(Jamestown, RI) -- One man is dead after a diving incident in waters near Beavertail State Park outside Jamestown. The Coast Guard says the accident happened around 1 p.m. yesterday and they brought him to shore. He was then flown to Newport Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The victim's name has not been released pending notification of family.
