An upset in men's college basketball last night.
Providence extended its winning streak to eight games after pulling off an upset.
The Friars improved to 13-and-3 after a 73-61 win over UConn.
The Huskies have dropped back-to-back games to fall to 14-and-2.
Both teams shot 36 percent from the field. But the Friars shot 44 percent from three point range as compared to UConn which shot 22 percent.
More than 12 thousand people saw Bryce Hopkins score a game high 27 points on their way to the win.
UConn will host Creighton next.
Providnece will play will host St John's.
