(Providence, RI) -- A former state lawmaker is being ordered to make restitution of more than 31-thousand-dollars. Peter Palumbo pled guilty yesterday to an illegal appropriation of more than one-thousand-dollars after an embezzlement investigation into campaign funds. Palumbo was also sentenced to three years suspended sentence and three years probation.
