(Providence, RI) -- A Scituate resident is facing a federal grand jury indictment for tax evasion and other charges. The indictment against Billie Schofield was handed up Tuesday in Providence. If convicted Schofield could face up to five years for tax evasion and perjury, three years for obstructing the IRS, plus monetary penalties.
