(Woonsocket, RI) -- Rhode Island-based CVS Health is announcing a new effort in the fight against chronic kidney disease. The company said this week that the new initiative will focus on early identification of the disease and the expansion of home dialysis in order to enhance care for patients. CVS Health says nearly 700-thousand Americans have end-stage renal disease and nearly half-a-million of those patients are on active dialysis.
