(Providence, RI) -- A new portrait of former Providence Mayor Angel Taveras has been unveiled. Ceremonies were held at Providence City Hall on Saturday. Taveras was the 37th mayor of the city and the first Latino mayor. The portrait was painted by Rhode Island artist Harley Bartlett.
