(Undated) -- A Rhode Island lawmaker is facing backlash after apparently calling a survivor of the Parkland, Florida, school shooting a dummy on Twitter. Republican Mike Chippendale of Foster was seen using the insult while responding to a tweet from Emma Gonzalez, who has since become a gun control advocate, about the Waffle House shooter in Nashville on Monday. The tweet has since been deleted. The Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence released a statement yesterday saying it was extremely disappointed with what it called a senseless attack by Chippendale on Gonzalez.
