(Providence, RI) -- Former presidential candidate and Florida governor Jeb Bush delivered a lecture to Brown University students on Wednesday. The event took place just days after his mother, Barbara Bush, was buried following her death last week. Jeb said his father, 41st president George H.W. Bush, who was hospitalized hours after the burial, will hopefully be released on Friday. Bush, speaking in an international affairs lecture series, said he doesn't believe the United States can maintain a meaningful presence in the world unless the issue of lack of social and economic mobility is addressed.
