(Wakefield, RI) -- Five individuals from Connecticut are being accused of two different robbery incidents in Rhode Island this weekend. Eighteen-year-old Benjamin Ibbitson of New London, and 29-year-old Jeffrey Wheeler of East Lyme, along with three male juveniles are all accused of participating in an armed robbery at a spa in West Warwick on Friday afternoon, and then in the evening the group allegedly attempted an armed robbery at a market in Hopkinton. Ibbitson and Wheeler were arraigned yesterday in Washington County District Court on the charges stemming from the alleged incident in Hopkinton.
