(Warwick, RI) -- A pedestrian who was struck in Warwick on Wednesday night has died. Authorities say an 80-year-old man was hit by a car on Warwick Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital. The driver, identified only as a 38-year-old man from Portsmouth, remained at the scene and was cooperative, according to police.
