(Providence, RI) -- Rhode Island College students are concerned about the impact of free tuition at Community College of Rhode Island on their school. RIC's student government has sent a resolution to state lawmakers claiming the Rhode Island Promise program has hurt enrollment and could lead to tuition increases. Governor Gina Raimondo, however, says RIC will receive more money from the previous year in her proposed budget and hopes to add RIC to the promise program.
