(Providence, RI) -- As teachers protested, Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza announced a re-election campaign on Sunday. The members of the Providence Teachers Union were calling attention to the lack of a contract with the city and said Elorza has ignored them. The mayor said one of his priorities will be to commit 400-million-dollars in the coming years to repair Providence schools.
