(Providence, RI) -- Rhode Island legislators are revealing their proposed budget for the 2018-2019 fiscal year. The nine-and-a-half-billion-dollar bill, released late Friday night, asks for about 250-million in school building repairs, tunes out Governor Gina Raimondo's proposal to expand medical marijuana in the state but also includes details on sports betting, which goes along with what the governor suggested. The full House is scheduled to vote on the budget this upcoming Friday.
