(Providence, RI) -- Two men are in custody in connection with a fatal shooting in Providence over the weekend. The Providence Police Department says Anthony Sharpe and George Webb are being charged with murder for the death of Jacorey Sanders of New Bedford, and that more arrests could be forthcoming. Sanders had reportedly told police while at a club on Saturday night that he spotted several people he thought could do him harm, and police reports indicate that he was then chased down as he was walking back to his car and shot. Police added yesterday that Sanders was wanted by New Bedford police for his alleged connection to a drive-by shooting last month.
