(Washington, DC) -- The director of the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency is taking a new position with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The White House announced on Wednesday that Peter Gaynor will be FEMA's new deputy administrator. Gaynor's resume also includes being the emergency management director in Providence and being enlisted in the United States Marine Corps for over two decades.
