(Fargo, ND) -- A Rhode Island man is being linked to the deadly overdose of a North Dakota man in an international drug ring. Steven Barros Pinto of Pawtucket is in custody at the Cass County Jail in Fargo and he appeared in U.S. District Court over the weekend on several drug charges. Prosecutors say Pinto collaborated with others to have fentanyl sent from China to make pills that were distributed across the U.S. and led to overdose deaths and injuries.
