(North Providence, RI) -- North Providence Schools Superintendent Bridget Morisseau is resigning following alleged misuse of school funds. The town's school committee accepted Morisseau's resignation after a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday night. North Providence Mayor Charles Lombardi says questionable credit-card expenses possibly totaling up to 12-thousand dollars are being examined by an auditor.
