(Providence, RI) -- Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children's Hospital nurses are in lockout mode until Friday afternoon. The three-day strike officially ended at 3 p.m. Thursday, but workers will be locked out of their jobs until Friday afternoon because Lifespan was required to have temporary staffing on until then. Many people carried signs outside the hospital campus on Thursday that read, "Locked Out." No deal has been reached between the hospital and union.
