(Coventry, RI) -- A 13-year-old boy reportedly drove an ambulance out a fire station in Coventry on Thursday, causing injuries to three people, including himself. The Coventry Police Department says the boy was at the fire station for a medical evaluation, but as soon as he arrived, he jumped into the ambulance while the keys were in it and drove across Route 117 before crashing into a ditch. Authorities say a firefighter who was thrown off the ambulance and a motorcyclist who was hit by the ambulance were also hurt, but none of the three suffered life-threatening injuries.
