(Providence, RI) -- The Democratic candidates for Providence mayor are one week away from a primary election. Incumbent Jorge Elorza and challengers Robert DeRobbio and Kobi Dennis, as well as independent candidate Diane Witman, took part in a debate last night at the University of Rhode Island. Topics included the city's unfunded pension liability, problems plaguing the public school system, and the controversial Hope Point Tower proposal.
