(Providence, RI) -- Today is primary election day in Rhode Island. There are six candidates running for governor, including Democratic incumbent Gina Raimondo and challengers Spencer Dickinson and Matthew Brown. On the Republican side, Allan Fung, Giovanni Feroce and Patricia Morgan are running. Incumbent Lieutenant Governor Daniel McKee faces a challenge from Aaron Regunberg, with the winner of that race facing Republican Paul Pence in November. There are also 33 total primaries for 113 General Assembly seats.
