(Undated) -- Providence and East Providence voters will also see plenty of local races on the ballot on Wednesday. Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza is running for re-election and faces Democratic challengers Kobi Dennis and Robert DeRobbio; the winner will take on two independent candidates, Jeffrey Lemire and Dianne Witman in the general election. There are ten Democratic primaries for City Council seats, including eight incumbents. East Providence is electing its first-ever mayor this year. In a non-partisan race, the top two candidates among Democrats Roberto DaSilva, Chrissy Rossi and James Russo, plus Albert Quattrucci Jr., who is unaffiliated, will advance.
