(Providence, RI) -- The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said late Thursday night that Allens Avenue and the on-ramp from Allens to Interstate 95 in Providence are expected to be reopened this morning after a fuel truck spilled thousands of gallons of gasoline on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management and the non-profit group Save the Bay are monitoring Narragansett Bay for potential impacts like dead fish or distressed birds.
