(Providence, RI) -- Ride-share scooters are back in Providence. City officials and representatives for the Bird electric scooter company announced the return on Thursday. The dockless motorized transporters appeared without warning in the city in July and were pulled off the streets until a regulatory agreement was reached. Another company, Lime, also announced it was introducing a fleet of scooters in the city yesterday.
