(Pawtucket, RI) -- The property developer involved with the redevelopment of the Pawtucket mill building which partially collapsed on Monday is releasing a statement regarding the accident. Three workers were injured, including one critically when she fell two stories and had to be pulled from the rubble, according to Pawtucket fire officials. The developer, Urban Smart Growth of Pawtucket, says the employees worked for a subcontractor of Metric Construction, the general contractor. The plan is to convert the old mill into loft-style apartments.
