(Jamestown, RI) -- The state is identifying the two people who died after they were swept into the water in Jamestown on Sunday. The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management says Kongjuan Wei and Xianzan Tan, a couple from Quincy, Massachusetts, appeared to be fishing from the rocky shore at Fort Wetherill State Park when a wave splashed over the rocks and pulled Tan into the water, and Wei then jumped in to try and save her. Authorities estimate the waves were six to eight feet high, generated by Saturday's nor'easter.
