(Providence, RI) -- A former knife factory in the Olneyville section of Providence is now affordable housing. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held yesterday at the site of the former Imperial Knife Factory, which was converted into 60 housing units. This came just a day after the Rhode Island Housing agency cut the ribbon at the Branch Blackstone rental home development for low and moderate-income families in Pawtucket and Central Falls.
