(Boston, MA) -- The man accused of hitting Red Sox manager Alex Cora with an open can of beer at Wednesday's championship parade in Boston is a college student in Rhode Island. Nineteen-year-old Patrick Connolly of Cape Cod is charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon for hitting Cora while he was riding in a duck boat. Police say Connolly, who is a student at Bryant University in Smithfield, told them he didn't mean to hit Cora with the can.
