(Charlestown, RI) -- If you ask to borrow a quarter in the near future, you might notice it includes a tribute to the Block Island National Wildlife Refuge. The United States Mint says it's launching the America the Beautiful Quarters Program coin featuring the refuge at the Rhode Island National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters on November 15th at 10:30 a.m. Ten-dollar rolls of quarters will be available for exchange. The Block Island coin is the 45th release in the program, which is set to honor a total of 56 national parks and other national sites.
