(Washington, DC) -- Senator Jack Reed, the top Democrat in the Senate Armed Services Committee, is announcing his support for a resolution to end U.S. support for the war in Yemen. Reed and fellow Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse were among ten Democrats to previously vote against a resolution co-sponsored by Senator Bernie Sanders that would limit America's involvement in the Saudi-led conflict. Now, ahead of a possible vote on the Senate floor on Wednesday, a spokesman for Reed tells WPRI-TV the senator has flipped his vote. A Whitehouse spokesman says he could also possibly do the same.
