(Johnston, RI) -- A new solar array has been completed in Johnston. The array on a former landfill site will generate nearly four megawatts of power for Johnston and Providence. Mayor of Providence Jorge Elorza said at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday that the site is an important step for Providence to become a carbon-neutral city by 2050.
