(Cranston, RI) -- The Cranston City Council is allowing a new enhanced golfing entertainment complex to move forward. It was a unanimous "yes" from the council on Monday for a zoning change needed for the Carpianato Group to begin constructing the Topgolf facility. It'll replace the old Citizens Bank building on Sockanosset Cross Road. A group of Cranston residents have expressed concern about Topgolf causing traffic congestion in an area they say is already busy.
