(Warwick, RI) -- The new chief of the Warwick Police Department is on the job. Colonel Rick Rathbun was sworn in on Monday after the city's choice to replace Stephen McCartney was unveiled by Mayor Joseph Solomon. Rathbun has almost 25 years of experience on the city police force and has served as the city's emergency management director.
