(Providence, RI)--The National Weather Service says a new record for a daily high temperature was set on Tuesday in Providence.Previously the top high temp for the date of February 5th was 62 degrees, set in 1991, but the weather service says yesterday's high was 64.Winter is returning, however; a Winter Weather Advisory is going into effect from 10 p.m. tonight until 10 a.m. Thursday for Providence and Kent counties for expected freezing rain.
