(Providence, RI) -- Complaints are mounting about the service being provided by a non-emergency medical transportation company in Rhode Island. The state House Oversight Committee held a hearing on Thursday as part of an investigation regarding the problems being reported with Medical Transportation Management, or MTM, which has included hundreds of missed rides and pickup delays. Lawmakers and other members of the community expressed concern about patients potentially dying. MTM took over after the state's contract with former vendor Logisticare was not renewed.
