(Providence, RI)--3D-printed guns aren't a problem currently in Rhode Island, and a state senator is looking to keep it that way.Senator Cynthia Coyne has introduced legislation that would ban the firearms, punishing offenders with a prison sentence of up to ten years.Rhode Island, under former attorney general Peter Kilmartin, joined a group of other states last summer suing to block a Texas company from publishing design files for a 3D-printed gun, and a federal judge has since issued a temporary injunction blocking the company from sharing the files.
