(Providence, RI)--The Rhode Island Senate is approving legislation to allow mobile sports betting.Senate President Dominick Ruggerio's bill would allow the wagering through an app connected to the Twin River casinos in Lincoln and Tiverton.The measure, approved by a 31-to-4 vote, now moves to the House.
