(North Kingstown, RI)--The Rhode Island National Guard is deploying over one-hundred airmen.The members of the 143rd Airlift Wing have been sent to southwest Asia from Quonset Air National Guard Base in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel.The Guard says more than three-hundred members of the 143rd are expected to mobilize this year in total.
