(Providence, RI)--A measure to allow mobile sports betting is now headed to Governor Gina Raimondo's desk after getting General Assembly approval.The state House yesterday signed off on the bill that had already been approved by the Senate, despite objections from Republicans, who have claimed the measure should go before voters.If Raimondo approves the bill, bettors will be able to access sports gaming offerings at Twin River casinos in Lincoln and Tiverton from anywhere within the state.Consumers will initially have to set up their accounts in person.
