(Cranston, RI)--Dozens of people gathered in Cranston on Sunday to remember a woman who was killed last week.The vigil, organized by the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence, was for Lauren Ise, whose boyfriend, Michael Marrapese, faces a first-degree murder charge.Ise's mother, Cheryl Palazzo, said police told Ise they could not arrest Marrapese after he threatened to kill her because there was no evidence.Palazzo also noted that Ise tried to take out a restraining order on him but could not because Marrapese apparently already had one out on her and also did not list an address.
