(North Providence, RI)--One person is dead and another is seriously injured after a stabbing incident at a North Providence home.North Providence Deputy Police Chief Arthur Martins says officers found an unresponsive male who was later pronounced dead after they had to force their way into a residence on Gale Court at around 5 p.m.Another male who was suffering from possibly-self-inflicted stab wounds was located and taken to Rhode Island Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.No names have been released, and Martins said the investigation is ongoing.
