(Cumberland, RI)--The Rhode Island Department of Transportation is performing steel repairs this summer to the Diamond Hill Road Bridge over Interstate 295 in Cumberland.RIDOT says the repairs were prompted by results of a routine safety inspection last month.Shoulder closures on I-295 are possible.This is one of three bridges that are set to be rehabilitated in 2022; the other two carry Douglas Pike over I-295 in Smithfield.
