(Providence, RI)--A Rhode Island lawmaker is getting a letter of admonishment for voting for his colleague.House Speaker Nicholas Mattiello's chief of staff gave Representative Raymond Hull the letter on Thursday after Hull marked Representative John Lombardi as present and recorded a vote for him on three bills earlier this month.Hull was also told he made misleading statements that Lombardi, who said he had to leave to deal with a medical emergency, was on the State House grounds, and that security footage was reviewed to confirm his absence.Lombardi was not admonished or disciplined.Hull has the option of challenging the action.
