(Central Falls, RI)--The city of Central Falls is taking the first step to shut down the Wyatt Detention Facility, which is once-again holding individuals who were arrested by ICE.The city council revoked two resolutions from 1991 allowing the building of the detention center at a special meeting on Wednesday.City Council President Maria Rivera says she does not want detainees being brought in based on the Trump administration's zero-tolerance border control policy.Central Falls Mayor James Diossa toured Wyatt yesterday before the vote was taken.
