(Providence, RI)--New lane closures on Route 6 in Providence are starting this week.The Rhode Island Department of Transportation says they are part of a rehab project for the Woonasquatucket River Bridge.The closures are just west of the Hartford Avenue exit starting today for eastbound traffic and tomorrow for westbound.RIDOT says the new traffic pattern will be in place until the end of the year.
