(Undated)--A new study is projecting far-lower revenue numbers for the state from sports-betting.The report from Christiansen Capital Advisors, a longtime state consultant, estimates only two-and-a-half-million dollars will be taken in by the end of the budget year. The original estimate from the state was over 23-million, and then a revised estimate of more than 11-million dollars was released. The study also indicates a new casino in Taunton, Massachusetts would cause a significant drain on the Ocean State's gambling revenue.
