(West Greenwich, RI)--A third Rhode Island town has become a "Second Amendment sanctuary."The West Greenwich Town Council voted four-to-one in favor of the status on Wednesday.Similar to Burrillville and Hopkinton, the resolution gives the police department the ability to use discretion in enforcing gun laws and says the town will not pay for storing seized weapons that were made illegal through bans on specific firearms.Several more towns are scheduled to take up similar resolutions within the next week.
