(Providence, RI)--RIDOT says the Providence-Newport Ferry is returning on May 24th with new weekend stops to Bristol.Ferries between Providence and Newport run seven days a week.RIDOT Director Peter Alviti Jr. says the decision was made to expand to Bristol after a successful first year of providing service to the Bristol Fourth of July Parade.The ferry company Seastreak is providing the service.
