(Coventry, RI)--Over three-hundred teachers are facing layoffs in the Coventry public school system.Administrators say the school district must make drastic cuts because taxpayers voted down a proposed budget last week.The district is also considering "double sessions" in which students would only attend a half-day of classes and take only required courses.The school district's budget is set to be discussed at a Coventry Town Council meeting tonight and a school committee meeting tomorrow night.
