Kanye West is opening up about what it feels like when he’s going through a bipolar episode.
Kanye described his condition as a having a sprained brain. “If someone has a sprained ankle, you’re not going to push on him more,” he explained. “With us, once our brain gets to a point of spraining, people do everything to make it worse. They do everything possible. They got us to that point and they do everything to make it worse.”
While ‘Ye wouldn’t discuss his condition in a technical sense because he’s not a doctor, he told David Letterman, “I feel a heightened connection with the universe when I’m ramping up.” Sadly, that sensation soon gives way to unpleasantness – like paranoia, and feeling like everyone’s conspiring against him. “You pretty much don’t trust anyone,” he added.
